NEW HAVEN, Conn. – – Wilmington standout Noah Wallace sits atop the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference after being named the CACC 2-24-25 Men’s Golf Player and Rookie of the Year as the league’s all-conference team was announced on Tuesday.

Joining Noah Wallace (Elkton, Md.) on the All-CACC Team is senior Pablo Quintero (Bogota, Colombia). They are a part of the top 10 student-athletes named All-CACC following the final round of conference ranking produced by Scoreboard powered by Clippd, stat statistics and rankings provider of NCAA Golf.

Noah Wallace becomes the second Wildcat to win both the CACC Men’s Golf Player and Rookie of the Year in the same season, joining Ryan Rucinski who did it in the 2015-16 season. He is the first CACC Golfer of the Year for the Wildcats since Rucinski’s senior season in 2018-19, and the first CACC Rookie of the Year since Sergio Ronchel in 2017-18.

Wallace is the No. 2 golfer in the East Region, sporting a 73.5 adjusted scoring average in 26 rounds as a freshman. He was the co-winner of the Penmen Spring Invitational and has five top-three finishes this season. Wallace tied for third place in the 2024-25 CACC Championship tournament last October and was named to the event’s All-Tournament team.

Pablo Quintero is ranked No. 11 in the East Region and has an adjusted scoring average of 75.6 strokes in 26 total rounds. He’s won two tournaments this year, first winning the Chestnut Hill Invitational in October and then the Dr. Edwin B Cottrell Invitational in the beginning of April. He also finished third overall at the Penmen Spring Invitational a couple weeks ago.
