Bohemia Manor Eagles shut down the Kent County Trojans 48-0

CHESAPEAKE CITY, MD – The Bohemia Manor Eagles started of the 2022 Football Season the same way they did last year with strong game against the neighboring Kent County High School Trojans.

Senior Quarterback Angel Granado went 6-9 passing for 108 yards with one TD. Leading Granado’s receiving corp was Senior Deavon Jones with 4 catches and 94 yards. Senior Jake Koehler had one catch on the evening for nine yards and Junior TE Andrew Swyka had one catch for five yards.

On the ground, Jake Koehler led the group of six Running Backs who would get carries on Friday night. Koehler had nine carries for 106 yards and three TDs. QB Angel Granado, Junior D’mari King and Senior FB Ayden Frost would also rush for TDs.

The Eagles offense put up 333 total yards in the 48-0 win over the Trojans.

Koehler led the team in tackles with four while Ayden Frost recorded the only sack on the night.

The Eagles Defense was tough for the Trojans to get past allowing only 68 yards rushing on 19 carries (3.6 avg) and 29 yards passing and only four completions. Kent County put up 107 yards of total offense and was unable to find the endzone in each of their drives.

Next up for the Eagles will be another home stand against the Patterson Mill Huskies.
